Amber

Amber Trout

Amber Trout is a former educator turned EdTech professional with over a decade of experience in K–8 education. She has served as a classroom teacher, STEM coding instructor, instructional coach, and dean of students.

During remote learning, Amber recognized educators’ urgent need to learn Google tools and find new ways to engage students virtually. To meet that need, she started a Google Education Group for Colorado educators, offering free professional development during a critical time. She was also completing her principal license at that time, giving her a broader perspective on education as a whole before transitioning into the EdTech world in 2020, where she could amplify her impact with educators worldwide.

Today, as Senior Community Manager at MagicSchool, Amber channels her passion for teaching into building and supporting educator communities. Still a teacher at heart, she loves helping educators save time and create powerful learning experiences through the use of technology.
