3,300+ districts trust Everyday Speech

I don’t have to lesson plan. It has the scope and sequence, so I can just pop in and move through it with my students. I do social skills at a minimum of four times a day and [Everyday Speech] has cut my planning time into a small, tiny fraction, and I love it. The games are so fun, kids are loving it. They have fun without even knowing they’re learning.

Honestly, with the students I provide virtual and in-person sessions for, I use Everyday Speech almost exclusively when providing services, because it encompasses SO much of the skills I work on with students. This hands-down is the most important resource I use with my students, and I’m truly grateful for Everyday Speech!!

I use Everyday Speech with my high school students. I love that it offers a video lesson where we can pause and discuss the scenarios. The psychologist and I have even used it for our social skills groups because it hits all the topics our students have expressed, they are interested in improving to support their needs. I have loved using Everyday Speech and it’s become an important therapy tool for my “everyday” use.

This program influenced my students’ social development in such a positive way. I’ve never seen such independence and social awareness develop so smoothly with a Kindergarten class as I had this year. With consistent implementation of the lessons and opportunities to practice the strategies, my students had tangible tools to use to self-regulate their emotions and bodies that they could apply within the classroom and at home.

The video modeling lessons captivate Kindergarten to sixth graders. The videos are just long enough and provide enough “think time” for both GE and special education students. The thought and speech bubbles reinforce problem solving skills. My students also enjoy the interactive games. Their ability to wait for their turn, stay engaged with the group and participate keeps growing.
